Our Story

Whitcon was established in 2007 with the goal of changing the face of Australian construction management. Although a relatively new company, Whitcon’s heritage is built on the 25 years worth of experience of our director: Rob Whitworth. His vast experience within Australia’s construction industry drives Whitcon’s expertise, commitment, and integrity.

With its headquarters in Sydney, Whitcon prides itself on its reputation for delivering high-quality projects within budget, on time, every time. We guarantee excellence in building standards and customer satisfaction for each and every project we undertake. Our core values of ethical behaviour, honesty, and communication inform all our projects. Our unique approach delivers guaranteed quality, at a cost effective price, with the best after sales service available.

Since 2007, we have evolved into an award-winning construction company, taking out the Master Builder’s Association Excellence in Construction Award (Club and Entertainment Refurbishment category) not once,
but twice. In 2013, our entry for the Barooga Sports won the award, and in 2015 our renovation of the Moama RSL won.

Robert Whitworth

Throughout his 25-year career, Robert has developed extensive knowledge and expertise in all areas of the construction industry, from design management and estimating, to programming and project management. He has extensive experience in difficult projects, particularly major residential developments, refurbishments, and retrofits. Robert gained the majority of his experience while managing his own highly successful construction company. Robert’s strong technical, project management and communication skills ensure the successful delivery of all our projects.
